Cats is a one-of-a. To qualify as a great film musical Cats would have needed more narrative more comedy more show-stopping tunes and more choreography. As far as additional performances and musical numbers go I also really resonated with Rum Tum Tuggers played by McGee Maddox performance of his own song The Rum.
